First Info Meeting

Yesterday we attended the information session with Commonwealth Adoptions. We were very impressed with their staff. However, we were disappointed to learn that their Panama program hasn't been very successful due to problems with the Panamanian government-- they aren't taking new applicants at this point. The presentation on their Taiwan and Kazakhstan programs sounded interesting. We met a social worker, Debra, who was very helpful. We'll probably use her for our home study. She gave us some info on an agency that offers a Korea program. Lot's to think about!
